Domain & hosting renewals

Clients must pay for domain and hosting renewals at least 30 days before the expiry date. If payment is not made within this time, hosting services are suspended.

Spamming

Unsolicited commercial mass email (spam) is not allowed. It harms the reputation of our servers and can overload equipment and disrupt service for other customers. This includes listing a hosted domain in any unsolicited email.

Adult sites and unacceptable content

Pornography and related merchandising are strictly prohibited on all XiberSoft services, including links to such content elsewhere.

Also not allowed: pirated software, hacker programs, warez archives, game rooms or MUDs, IRC bots, Egg Drop programs, and any illegal software or shareware. Sites offering online gambling, casino games, sportsbook betting (including offshore) and internet lotteries are prohibited.

Backups

Clients are responsible for backing up their own websites and email. Please download your email to your computer using Outlook or another email app.

We back up our servers so we can restore them after a hard disk failure. These backups are for our own administration, so we can't take responsibility for client email or website data. Clients upload their data when the account is created, and again if anything goes wrong.

Domain policy

If a registered domain is not being used, for example it isn't hosted anywhere, we may place search advertisements on it.

Domain-only clients (with no hosting package) pay an additional domain parking fee of Rs 1,000 per year, introduced on 1 January 2024 because of the change in the dollar exchange rate.

Download sites

You may not offer commercially available software, fixes, patches or media files (such as MP3, AVI or WAV) for download on your site.

We may terminate service at any time if this term is broken. If you are found to violate a licensing agreement, service may be terminated permanently without a refund.
